The Grand Rapids Football Club's women's team is wrapping up their inaugural season with just one more home match after Friday night.

For their final match at their home turf at Grandville High School, the Women in Blue welcomed in Fort Wayne United and did away with them with a 6-0 win.

Bethany Balcer scored four goals for GRFC.

While the women were winning big at home, the men's team was in Lafayette, Indiana playing FC Indiana and they came home with a similar big win, beating the host team 6-1.

Both teams play at home at Houseman Field Sunday afternoon in back-to-back matches for the first time ever. First match is at 2 PM.
