NCAA tournament court unveiled at Little Caesars Arena

Fans can see the teams, and the new floor, during Thursday's open practice sessions.

Preparations are underway at Little Caesars Arena for the first and second round NCAA tournament games being played there Friday and Sunday.

Wednesday, crews at LCA laid down made-in Michigan floor and decals that will be on display during the six games.

Fans can also see the teams, and the new floor, during Thursday's open practice sessions.

Michigan State, the headliner for the weekend at LCA, will hold a 40-minute practice beginning at 3:25 p.m. at LCA. Not only is admission free, but parking is free in the lots north of I-75.

All eight teams scheduled to play in Detroit on Friday will have practice at LCA on Thursday. And all of those practices are free, too.

11-11:40 a.m.: Cal-State Fullerton

11:45 a.m.-12:25 p.m.: Butler

12:30-1:10 p.m.: Purdue

1:15-1:55 pm.: Arkansas

3:25-4:05 p.m.: Michigan State

4:10-4:50 p.m.: TCU

4:55-5:35 p.m.: Bucknell

5:40-6:20 p.m.: Arizona State or Syracuse
