Lowell had done it before.

Notching comeback wins during the regular season in back to back weeks against Forest Hills Central then again against Forest Hills Northern.

They never panic when trailing, especially when the pressure mounts. Saturday in the Division 2 MHSAA State Semifinals the Red Arrows trailed Walled Lake Western 37-14 in the third quarter. Lowell scored 20 unanswered points to storm back but this time it wasn't meant to be. The Red Arrows couldn't stop the Warriors on a crucial 4th and 8 with 2:08 to go in the 4th quarter as Walled Lake Western held on for the 37-34 win.

Lowell junior quarterback David Kruse had four rushing touchdowns to lead the Red Arrows.

Lowell finishes the season 12 and 1.
