The Muskegon Big Reds overcame a slow start Friday night to beat the Kenowa Hills Knights, 49-7.
Muskegon scored first on a Kaili Pimpleton touchdown pass to Jacory Sullivan. The Knights answered with a Benito Hernandez touchdown pass to Dylan Mackey. The PAT gave Kenowa a 7-6 lead.
That lead lasted until the second quarter. Muskegon would score the final 43 points of the game to get the win. The Big Reds improve to 6-1 overall, and are in first place in the O-K Black.
