BROOKLYN — Kyle Larson made a move following a restart with three laps left to win his third straight at Michigan International Speedway, this time winning Sunday's Pure Michigan 400.

Larson is the first driver to win three times in a row at Michigan since Bill Elliott did it from 1985-86. It's his fifth top-10 finish in eight races at MIS.

This marked his third win in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in 2017. He led only the final two laps.

Byron native Erik Jones placed third, finishing behind teammate Martin Truex Jr., who posted his ninth top-10 finish at MIS.

Truex Jr. leads Larson by 129 points in the point standings.
