Have a beat-up cabin? It could bring reality TV fame

If you can find a beat-up Michigan cabin in desperate need of a remodel, the DIY Network wants to make you a star.

The more remote and dilapidated, the better.

Dorsey Pictures, which produces the DIY show "Maine Cabin Masters," is looking for cabin remodelers in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

The network is seeking teams of workers who rehab cabins in remote areas (U.P. deer camp, anyone?) while "revitalizing a little bit of backwoods history in the process."

A TV crew will follow the rehab crew throughout the process, from discovering the forgotten cabin, tracking down owners and doing the work of reclaiming them.

If you and your build team specialize in reclaim renovation, please contact whayes@dorseytv.com as soon as possible as casting for builders and contractors has begun. Include your name, a brief bio and website, a photo of yourself and the crew, location of the property and project you want to tackle, the type of structure, all members of the building team, major hurdles the team will face and transportation expectations for materials and crew.

Here are details.
