Award-winning Filipino designer creates gown for Grand Rapids Asian Festival

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - It's certainly a good weekend to enjoy the first-ever Grand Rapids Asian Festival! It's happening Saturday, June 10, at Rosa Parks Circle.

The free event will feature cultural performances, workshops for kids, roll call of nations and a karaoke contest. Of course, you'll also be able to purchase a taste of a variety of delicious food.

WZZM 13's Jennifer Pascua will be emceeing the event and will be wearing gown created by award-winning Filipino designer RC Caylan.

Master Lee' School of Tai Chi Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Tai Chi Jeung shared a sample of their demonstration.
