GRAND RAPIDS, MICH - The Blanford Nature Center is hosting a Kombucha Workshop Saturday Nov. 11, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Kombucha is a fermented beverage dating back almost 3,000 years and has been used in many cultures as a beneficial drink for digestion, inflammation, immune function, and countless other uses including skin toner. Blandford welcomes Geoff Lamden of Sacred Springs Kombucha, who has brewed kombucha for over a decade and will teach you how to do it too, talk about proper handling, clear up myths, and talk about possible health benefits.
You have to register to attend, and space is filling up. To sign up, head over to the Blandford Center's website.
If you miss out on this workshop, others are planned. Look for new dates coming up in January on the Blandford Center's events calendar.
