Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville combine for first ever Restaurant Week

SAUGATUCK, MICH. - The communities of Saugatuck, Douglas and Fennville are coming together to hold their first Restaurant Week. EatDrinkSDF Restaurant Week is being held June 19 – June 23 this year.

EatDrinkSDF Restaurant Week is an invitation for locals and tourists alike to taste their way through the three lakeshore communities. With more than twenty restaurants celebrating the eclectic restaurant scene of these lakeshore towns, there's something for every taste. Area restaurants welcome diners to come hungry for a new, delicious experience.

"Nothing brings people together like food," says Mindy Trafman of J. Paul's Restaurant + Wine Lounge @ The Kirby in Douglas. "Restaurant Week is a pre-season celebration of everything delicious: We welcome diners to try us out and indulge. I am excited to be part of bringing Saugatuck, Douglas, and Fennville together as one to show everything we have to offer as a restaurant community. Taste summer, EatDrinkSDF style."

Initial participants include: GROW – A Saugatuck Diner, Everyday People Cafe, J. Paul's Restaurant + Wine Lounge @ The Kirby, Hercules, Salt of the Earth, The Mermaid Bar & Grill, Respite, Borrowed Time, Saugatuck Brewing Company, Farmhouse Deli, The Southerner, Wick's Park Bar & Grill, Root Coffeehouse and Café, Crane's, The J. Petter Galleries, with more to come.

Each restaurant will prepare creative and original tasting menus at fixed prices of $10, $15 and/or $30 per person. Restaurant dining hours will vary by location, check EatDrinkSDF.com for all participating restaurants and the complete schedule of events.
