GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Award-winning choreographer, Val Caniparoli is back in Grand Rapids working with dancers for the classic family holiday The Nutcracker.
This year, the production was completely re-imagined by Grand Rapids native and author of The Poplar Express, Chris Van Allsburg. It features the music of Tchaikovsky which is performed live by Grand Rapids Symphony.
The annual show returns to DeVos Performance Hall for two weekends in December with four evening shows and four matinees:
- Friday, Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m.
- Friday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.
