1. BELLE’S BALL: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST HOSTED BY DADDY DAUGHTER TIME

Sunday, March 19 @ 3 p.m.  to 6:30 p.m.

Beauty and the Beast is hitting the big screen at Celebration Cinema and Esa’sCloset.com and Daddy Daughter Time has an opening weekend event for you and your daughters.

Before our matinee on Sunday afternoon, March 19, we’ll throw a pre-movie party complete with a Princess Belle character and much more.

Each ticket comes with pop and popcorn. Plus, a portion of each ticket price goes to support Daddy Daughter Time. Special thanks to Townsquare Media and Celebration Cinema for their partnership!

2. ULTIMATE SPORT SHOW – GRAND RAPIDS AT DEVOS PLACE

3. IRISH ON IONIA 2017

Celebrating its seventh year, Irish on Ionia is bigger and better than ever! The festival on Ionia Street in Downtown Grand Rapids will stretch from Oakes to Fulton & Weston to Commerce.

4. 47TH ANNUAL SUGARBUSH FESTIVAL

Saturday, March 18 @ 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Celebrate the sweet arrival of spring with this year’s festival theme: “The Best of Sugarbush!” Learn the process of maple sugaring through Sugarbush demonstrations: identify what characteristics make up a maple tree, experience hands-on tree tapping, explore historic pioneer and Native American sugaring techniques and end it all with a taste test in Blandford’s Sugarhouse.

Make it an all day event with draft horses, maple cotton candy, games, wildlife encounters and lots more family fun!

5. Seriously Funny Family Adventure Challenge presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan

The Seriously Funny Family Adventure Challenge is just like that! Only different. Well, let’s be honest . . . REALLY different. But that’s what makes this event so SERIOUSLY FUNNY!

This family fun-filled challenge will involve teams* (of two or four) racing across the downtown areas of Grand Rapids to engage in fun and exciting timed challenges requiring fast thinking, fast acting, and reckless abandon.
