Autism Family Network hosts walk for families

Walk For Autism Today At Coopersville High

COOPERSVILLE, MICH. - The Autism Family Network is hosting a walk Saturday for families with members who have autism spectrum disorders.   Shannon Jasperse from the Autism Family Network, and Shelli LeMieux, the Donor Acquisition Chair joined Meredith to talk about the walk Saturday morning.  


The walk is free, and it's to promote awareness for autism spectrum disorders.  It's also a fun event for families to get out and participate together. 
The Autism Family Network is a nonprofit that raises awareness of individuals who have autism and their families.  The group provides seminars for parents and other family members as well as events for families to get together and have fun.  It provides grants for education, therapy, and equipment. It has support groups available as well.


The walk is Saturday at Coopersville High School.  Check in begins at 10:30 am.
