Take a spooky tour this summer in Grand Haven

Grand Haven Haunted Tours

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Grand Haven is a fantastic place to enjoy some classic summer fun -- from spending time at the beach, to grabbing a Pronto pup or an ice cream cone, you really can't go wrong. But when you're interested in doing something a out of the usual, try a ghost walk.

Bill Jones and Jay McClellan co-founded GRASPP, which stands for Gathering Research and Stories of Paranoral Phenomena. The two joined the Weekend Morning news team to talk about the tours they are launching in Grand Haven on June 2.

They also brought in some of their paranormal investigation tools including a night shot camera, mel-meter, and a thermal imager camera.

The tours in Grand Haven run every Friday & Saturday evening through the month of June. Tours start at 7 and 9 p.m. sharp at the corner of Second and Washington streets downtown. Cost is $5 per person.

GRASPP also has Paranormal Investigation Training workshops -- classes are June 10, Aug. 19 and Sept. 30 and run from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. Cost is $35 a person and each class will last about 3-and-a-half hours. Participants need to be 16 years of age or older.
