The Kroc Center offers summer activities for the whole family

Keep your kids active this summer

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - If you're running out of ways to keep your kids occupied this summer, The Kroc Center in Grand Rapids has a lot of offer. Marketing Director, Jon Shaner shares three activities they have going on this summer:

Camp Kroc Summer Camps: Starting June 19 – All Summer Long!
The Salvation Army Kroc Center’s Camp Kroc is a Christian day camp licensed through the State of Michigan. Camp gives children the opportunity to engage in fun-filled activities in a safe and positive environment, and promotes the development of the whole child through structured group activities to improve socialization and boost self-confidence.

The Kroc Center offers a variety of camps including a day camp, specialty camps and an overnight camp at Little Pine Island.

Free Family Fun & Fitness Nights: Every Wednesday in July, 5:45 – 8:30 p.m.
Work up a sweat in a FREE family fitness class beginning at 5:45 p.m., then cool off on the giant slip & slide from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Or, just relax and enjoy the rest of our outdoor campus.

Class schedule: July 12 – Urban Kick with Valarie; July 19 – Family Fitness Fun with Lewis; July 26 – Family Boot Camp with Marilyn.

National Night Out: Tuesday, August 1,  5–8 p.m.
FREE! Join local police, fire, and other neighborhood partners as we celebrate community safety and togetherness.
