(WZZM) - Television viewers across America said a temporary farewell to Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts Thursday. It was her last day on air before her medical leave begins.
But this time, it's not just for her health, but because of her mother's health.
Roberts said her 88 year old mother has had health issues recently. So, Robin Roberts and her sister Sally-Ann are going home to visit their mother.
Sally-Ann is scheduled to donate bone marrow to her sister Robin Roberts.
Robin Roberts' last day on GMA was supposed to be Friday.
