Founders brings back 'Palm Reader,' gives to local group

One Founders beer helping restore the rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - You can find a Founders beer in almost every state, but one of the brews they brought back this season can only be found in Michigan.

It also helps out a local group that's been close with the Founders owners for a while now. Proceeds from the "Palm Reader" go to Grand Rapids Whitewater and the initiative to Bring Back the Rapids.

Jeremy Kosmicki, brewmaster at Founders, says they love working with the local community.

"Just trying to raise some money for these guys to bring the rapids back," he said. "Make it a little more natural, a little more recreational, a little more fun for people who want to go down and enjoy the river."

Palm Reader comes on tap at Founders or in a six pack at local stores.
