GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - With Election Day quickly coming to a close -- and who doesn't need to unwind? -- Experience Grand Rapids has announced its second annual Cocktail Week GR from Nov. 9-20.
More than 35 locations will participate and create specialty menus for the 12-day celebration.
Award winning, Detroit-based distillery Valentine Distilling Company is sponsoring the event and will be offering two Michigan cocktails and a shared-plate appetizer for $25 or less, along with other menu items that pair with Michigan-distilled spirits, according to a news release.
This year, Cocktail Week GR will coincide with the annual Wine, Beer and Food Festival from Nov. 17-19 at the DeVos Place Convention Center. The new release says the festival will include an expanded spirits area to celebrate Cocktail Week GR.
A myriad of distilleries and restaurants will also offer special cocktail events and tours throughout the week.
