Free Heart Screenings for H.S. Students

CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Metro Health provided free heart screenings for students Saturday morning.

Over 200 high school students, from ages 14 to 18 took advantage of the screenings at the Metro Health in Cascade.

Each screening takes about 20 minutes, and looks for risk of sudden cardiac death. Organizers today were glad to provide today's service, which can help prevent serious health conditions.

The Wes Leonard Heart Team was also onsite to provide CPR training.
