GR homeless man makes Christmas cards to raise money for those 'less fortunate' than him

Homeless Christmas cards

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - James has been homeless since May, and this year, he is making Christmas cards to raise money for those who are less fortunate than he is.

James is a patron of Degage Ministries and his custom cards are printed by the organization. He then offers the cards for a donation at St. Mark's Episcopal Church and Fountain Street Church.

50 percent of the proceeds go back to Degage.

The cards have been so popular that James has not been able to keep up demand. He also works as a dishwasher and maintenance employee at St. Mark's Church.
