More than 100 students in Grand Rapids received new coats

Henry Head Start received coats

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - More than 100 children from Henry Head Start received a brand new coat on Tuesday, Dec. 19.

A local business, Jeffrey Richard Salon, donated the coats so that the children could have warm clothing going into the winter. The salon also said in a Facebook post, they they had enough donations to not only give the students coats, but also new socks and underwear.

The coats were delivered this afternoon on the last day before the students are off for the holiday break.

Henry Head Start is a preschool in Grand Rapids, and every student at the school got a new coat.
