Greenthumb - Take care of potted plants

(WZZM) Greenthumb Rick Vuystsays every potted plant needs a good foundation, starting with good soil.

Rick recommends Dairydoo soil as a great choice. When putting together a potted plant, Rick says think of "WAM" - not the band from the 1980's, but the acronym.

The W is for water. Make sure you have enough, but not too much. Too much or too little water can kill your potted plant.

The A is for air. Make sure your plant and its soil have proper air circulation.

The M is for minerals. Rick recommends using Osmocote to help feed your plant. It offers a slow release of up to three or four months.
