Thanks to my current obsession with www.pinterest.com I have found some SUPER easy Halloween treats to make for a school party or neighborhood get together!
Keebler Striped Shortbread Cookies (or Meijer Fudge Treasures)
Flip the cookie upside down so the striped side is facing down, add a quarter sized amount of orange frosting around the middle of the cooking, place Hershey kiss on top and voila! See picture attached to this article for the finished product.
Vanilla flavored candy coating (I use the Meijer CandiQuik Candy coating - found in the baking/spice aisle by the chocolate chips)
Various Halloween candies: I use fall-themed M&Ms, candy corn, Meijer's "autumn mix" candy corn, candy corn pumpkins, etc
Chopped pretzel bits
Melt vanilla chocolate according to package directions (in tray in microwave). While its melting, cover a small cookie sheet with foil. Sprinkle some of the candies on the tray and pour melted chocolate over, using a spatula to smooth it out across the pan. Then use the rest of the candies and pretzels on top to fill it in and give it a more colorful appearance. Pop it in the fridge for about 15 minutes, then simply break it up into bite sized pieces of bark.
Tip: Use any leftover candies/pretzels to make little bags of "Halloween Trail Mix".
