Morning Chat: National Reading Month, LaughFest Kicks off, comedian P.J. Walsh visits

(WZZM) - March is National Reading Month, Jennifer Pascua and Alana Nehring visited Holy Spirit School in Grand Rapids to read to students. Alana read "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", while Jennifer read "Punctuation takes a Vacation."

LaughFest kicked off this week as organizers tried to break a world record for the fourth year on a row. This year they attempted to have the most people wearing sunglasses at night in one place.

They are currently waiting on Guinness to confirm that they broke the record currently held by Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Comedian P.J. Walsh stopped in to talk with Jennifer and Aaron about his upcoming LaughFest Show. Walsh has traveled the world performing comedy, from the Olympics to touring with the Blue Collar Comedy tour.

Walsh's show is Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Lowell Performing Arts Center.
