GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Do you love dogs? Are you looking for something to do Friday night? Not anymore!

The annual "Raise the Woof" fundraising event is happening Nov. 17 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at The Intersection's Stache Bar. It's being put on by Hearts of Hope.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

According to a press release, the event will feature live music by DJ MattB, free hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, goody bags, a huge raffle, a professional photos -- and a few of the dogs the organization is working to save.

I'll say that again -- SOME OF THE ADOPTABLE DOGS WILL BE THERE!

"We are in for the long haul and we need support," said Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue Founder, Janelle McFarlane in the release. "Our goal with this event is to heighten awareness and raise funds towards helping more dogs in the community."
