He may have two left feet but Prince William isn’t too shy to Step Up.
During a Wednesday trip to Battersea’s Caius House Youth Centre , one of the largest youth centers in London, the Duke of Cambridge joined the Scariofunk Dance Collective — a street dance crew serving South and West London — and did his best to get in Formation. Unfortunately, his shoulders did not fall in line.
"I can never get the shoulder shiver right," Prince William joked as he attempted to mimic the dancers’ fluid moves. "There is no pressure, because I will look ridiculous." (He wasn't wrong!)
But while the good-natured royal may not have been able to get down in the dance studio, he did get down in the kitchen, participating in a cupcake-decorating session, comparing his talents to bakers on the Great British Bake Off and even shouting out the show host: "Mary Berry, eat your heart out!"
He also swung by the center's boxing ring as well as the arts and crafts area during the visit. Prince William, along with Duchess Kate and Prince Harry, have made youth enrichment one of the pillars of The Royal Foundation, which also works to support conservation efforts and military personnel.
