1.) President Lincoln Cocktail, Revised
1oz Bourbon
.25oz Orange Liqueur (Cointreau)
2 dashes Orange Bitters
1 tsp Fresh lemon juice
2oz Champagne
Mix all ingredients together on ice in a tall collins glass. Top with champagne and stir gently. Garnish with an orange twist studded with a clove.
2.) Hurricane, New Orleans Style
2oz aged gold rum
1oz fresh orange juice
.5oz fresh lime juice
1tsp passionfruit syrup
1tsp grenadine
2 dashes angostura bitters
Shake ingredients well in a shaker full of ice. Dump shaker into a hurricane glass, and garnish with fresh fruit.
3.) Il Communard
2.5oz chilled cheap red burgundy
.5oz creme de cassis
Mix together in a small tumbler or wineglass. Drink quickly while talking about revolution.
