Toys for Tots ... A Community Service Project!
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve created Toys for Tots as a nationwide community service program in 1947.
- Through the gift of a new toy, Toys for Tots provides happiness and hope
to children who might otherwise be overlooked during the holiday season.
- The toys and funds collected in West Michigan are used to purchase toys
locally, and all toys are then distributed to needy children in our local community.
- The national Toys for Tots program has over 300 cities
participating, distributing over 10 million toys annually!

Workers at Farmers Insurance got to wear jeans to work Wednesday in exchange for bringing in a toy. Last year the company collected more than 500 toys and about $1,100 in cash for Toys for Tots.
