Hackers are taking advantage of record online sales this holiday season. The FBI is issuing a warning for consumers about fraudulent emails.
More than a third of shoppers wait until the week before Christmas to do the bulk of their shopping. The FBI says to be on the lookout for phishing scams and emails saying packages can't be delivered and you need to click a link to pick it up.

Claire Rosenzweig is with the Better Business Bureau in New York. "Scammers are looking for people at vulnerable times. When they're buying products, and trying to ship them to loved ones in a very short time it leaves them vulnerable."
The BBB says by opening one of these, you are introducing malware to your computer and it will lead you to another site where it asks for personal information. According to the BBB, roughly 20-percent of online scams occur in the month of December.
