Kendra Bylsma, owner/lead head coach at Allegro Coaching offers some advice about how to get motivated.

"First, it’s not something you can buy off the shelf. If that were the case, we all would be motivated and living healthy every single day. The only way to get motivated is by just taking action.

Just do it. One day at a time.

Don’t get so overwhelmed with the big picture but put on your blinders and look at the 24 hours you have in front of you. How can you win the day? I tell my clients to put their blinders on and just take it one day at a time because if you are serious about being healthy, you CAN create time to move and you CAN create opportunities to eat healthier.

The problem most people encounter is trying to make change happen too quick. We set this ridiculous pace for ourselves and want results by spring break and it’s just too overwhelming for us to think about.

A body at rest will stay at rest, a body in motion will stay in motion!"
