FDA recommends guidelines change for cervical cancer detection

Grand Rapids (WZZM) - Recently, an FDA committee unanimously recommended a change in the guidelines for detecting cervical cancer.

The changes state doctors should include an HPV test for certain patients along with the standard PAP test to detect the disease. Not only that, the committee says screening should be spread out.
