GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The 3D mammogram has become a new tool to help women with dense breast tissue.
There's a new study being conducted to help determine if 3D mammograms are the better choice for women. The study is slated to last for the next five years.
Dr. Tammy Kreuzer, Medical Director of Spectrum Health's Betty Ford Breast Care Services talks with Health Reporter Valerie Lego about the study and how 3D mammograms help find cancer in younger women.
