GVSU students work to make mental health a priority

GVSU students campaign for mental health

ALLENDALE, MICH. - Mental health is just as important as your physical health -- and yet there is a still a stigma around it that prevents many from getting the help they need.

A group of Grand Valley State University students is trying to change that through a national mental health campaign called Campaign to Change Direction.

The students hope to educate the public on emotional wellbeing.

GVSU public relations students Ashley Mamula and Lauren Ritsema talk with Health Reporter Valerie Lego about the campaign.
