Women, it's time to start prioritizing your health

Dr. Jessica Hafner from Holland Hospital joined WZZM to discuss the upcoming event.

HOLLAND, MICH. - It seems the older we get, the more hectic our lives can be.

Trying to fit everything in can often mean picking and choosing what's most important. Unfortunately for many women, that means putting taking care of themselves at the bottom of the list.

Dr. Jessica Hafner from Holland Hospital talks with WZZM 13 Health Reporter Valerie Lego about why women shouldn’t neglect their health.

Watch the full interview in the video above.

Holland Hospital's annual women's health event "Build the Best You" will talk about how to map your cancer risk, how to use the healing power of herbs and spices, how to laugh hysterically without peeing your pants and how to reach your sexual peak.

If you would like to attend Holland Hospital's Build the Best You event, it is Thursday, Sept. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Baker Lofts (171 E. 24th St.) in Holland.

The event is free, but you do need to register by calling 616-394-3344 or by clicking here.
