Here's how they stack up when it comes to your health:

Tea lowers your risk of depression by 37-percent, fights inflammation, lowers risk of stroke and heart disease and lowers risk memory problems

Tea has also been attributed to making you look younger. It protects against cell damage making your cells biologically younger.

But coffee has some great benefits too. Coffee-drinkers are less likely to die prematurely from diseases -- coffee protects against Type 2 Diabetes, Parkinson's Disease and several cancers including colon cancer.

When pitted against each other, coffee wins the popularity contest. According to market research by Euromonitor coffee is the most popular in the world -- 79-percent of countries prefer coffee over tea.
