ATLANTA -- Greenville native and former Ferris State University Bulldog Justin Zimmer will have a chance to prove himself on the big stage once again.
The Atlanta Falcons have signed the defensive lineman to their 90-man roster. By the time the regular season starts later this year, we'll know if he made it through all the cuts.
Zimmer was previously with the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints. He also spent some time in the Canadian Football League with the Montreal Alouettes.
