National Parental Alienation Awareness Day celebrated in Muskegon

Parental alienation is a syndrome when a child feels unjustified hatred or strong dislike to one of the parents.

April 25 is National Parental Alienation Awareness Day.

According to awarnessdays.com, parental alienation is a syndrome when a child feels unjustified hatred or strong dislike to one of the parents. This makes the access by the rejected parent difficult and even impossible.

In Muskegon County, Papalienation Muskegon was there was spreading the word at the hall of justice and offering their services and support to any parent impacted by custody parental alienation. A spokesperson for the group says, it's something many people who enter courthouses around the country and in Muskegon are dealing with and that you have to love you kids more than you hate your ex.

Papalienation Muskegon meets every Tuesday night at the Upper Room Church Ministries on Catherine Street from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
