20 Monroe Live to host job fair ahead of grand open

Grand Rapids' newest concert venue is looking for workers.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - A downtown entertainment venue opening this winter will host a job fair to fill open positions.

The $16-million 20 Monroe Live, owned by The Gilmore Collection and managed by Live Nation’s House of Blues Entertainment, will host the event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at The B.O.B., according to the Grand Rapids Business Journal.

The venue, connected to The B.O.B., at 20 Monroe Ave. NW, is looking for “rockstar candidates who love music, work hard and want to be a part of Grand Rapids’ exciting new home for live concerts and entertainment.”

The venue is hiring for numerous positions: bartenders; servers; cocktail mixologists; security; cooks; kitchen staff; stagehands; event production; hosts; and box office personnel.
