GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - A developer has broken ground on a $19-million apartment complex on the West Side.
Cherry Street Capital officially began work last week on the 61,300-square-foot 601 West complex.
The development covers six lots on Lexington and Seward avenues NW and Lake Michigan Drive NW.
601 West will consist of a five-story building and a three-story building.
The complex will feature 63 units of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and 8,500 square feet of ground-level retail.
