NEWAYGO, MICH. - The Plumb's grocery store in Newaygo is slated to close this weekend.
This is the second store the grocery chain is closing since the company announced they were closing their Norton Shores store this past weekend.
A sign at the Newaygo store says the store will close 8 p.m. Sunday, the same time the Plumb's location on Sherman Boulevard in Norton Shores will close. Plumb's management from the Norton shores locations will move into the Muskegon Township and Whitehall stores.
The chain still has three stores in Muskegon County, Muskegon Township, North Muskegon and Whitehall that will remain open.
WZZM has reached out to Plumb's for comment but has not heard back. The company previously said it has been business as usual at its stores.
