GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - President Trump was in Michigan Wednesday, March 15, talking about the auto industry.
The President kept his America First message going by saying he wants more jobs in Michigan.
Trump met with several automakers and told them he is willing to relax on some upcoming regulations.
"My administration will work tirelessly to eliminate industry killing regulations, lower the job crushing taxes and to ensure a level playing field for all American companies and workers," said Trump.
Auto Industry Expert Mike Wall is encouraged by what he heard from the President.
"You've got the automakers engaged, the administration is engaged, so I think if everyone is talking and talking about the rules and how best to hit them and discussing options...I think that's a positive," said Wall.
