Frozen onion rings recalled; bag doesn't show milk ingredient

LISLE, IL. - McCain foods is recalling bags of frozen onion rings that were sold across Michigan.

Both Kroger and Spartan generic brands of frozen breaded onion rings. The recall is because of the use of incorrect packaging because it doesn't declare milk as one of the ingredients.

The recall is as follows:

"McCain Foods USA, Inc. is recalling the following products. Kroger Brand, 20 oz. Bag of Frozen Breaded Minced Onion Rings with any production date after March 9, 2015 and prior to July 24, 2015, and Fareway Brand, 20 oz. Bag of Frozen Breaded Onion Rings with any production date after March 9, 2015 and prior to June 5, 2015."
