GRAND RAPIDS, (WZZM) - 5 people were injured after the driver ran a red light in Grand Rapids.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 3 Mile Road and the East Beltline.
Police tell WZZM 13, after failing to stop at the light the SUV hit a car traveling eastbound on 3 Mile Road. It took almost 30 minutes to remove the driver of the SUV.
3 passengers, and the driver of the car suffered only minor injuries.
