HOLLAND, MICH. - The third annual tulip dig took place in Holland Saturday morning. Participants chose to dig tulip bulbs from three different city facilities -- Window on the Waterfront, Centennial Park and Windmill Island Gardens.
The cost of participation was ten dollars for a five-gallon bucket to fill. All the proceeds will support the city of Holland's entry into the 2016 America in Bloom competition. This will be the sixth consecutive year the city will participate in the competition.
The event was sponsored by the City of Holland and Holland in Bloom.
