ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (WZZM)-  A woman is facing several charges for a high speed police chase through two West Michigan counties.

Around 8:15 a.m. Saturday, a state trooper tried to pull over the driver for speeding on southbound US 131 near the Bradley Exit in Allegan County.

The driver kept going, reaching speeds over 100 mph as she crossed into Kalamazoo County.  Troopers used stop sticks to deflate her tires near Schoolcraft. But the driver kept going,  driving on her rims.

She cut across the median near XY Avenue and started driving the wrong way until a state trooper cut her off.

The suspect was taken to the Allegan County Jail, where she now faces charges of fleeing and eluding police, resisting and obstructing officers and operating while intoxicated.
