SPRING LAKE, Mich. (Grand Haven Tribune) - A century-old house crumbled and collapsed Wednesday as a demolition crew delivered the final blows to the former Avalon Floral building, 804 E. Savidge St.
Demolition was expected to continue Thursday, according to crew spokesman Chad Cordes.
Local developer John Doezema purchased the site and contracted for the demolition, which the Spring Lake Historic Conservation Commission approved several weeks ago.
