MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - Crews continue to investigate the site of an industrial fire this morning.
The first calls to the fire were made at about 7:30am to the 400 block of Ottawa Street. The fire was at General Plumbing and Supply.
The business has been closed for several years, but plumbing supplies were still left inside. Part of the roof of the building did collapse and Muskegon firefighters did not enter the building because of the collapse potential. No one has been injured.
Firefighters recently inspected the building to determine how best to fight a fire at the site should one occur.
