WZZM 13 is owned and operated by Gannett Inc., which has a separate non-profit entity, The Gannett Foundation. Through this Foundation, non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations are encouraged to apply for grants throughout the year whose mission exemplifies children, families and education. Gannett Foundation grants are distributed two times during the year. Applications are due to WZZM 13 on February 15 and August 15.
