Whitecaps fans watching paint dry as team "celebrated" the most boring day in history.
COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WZZM) -- West Michigan Whitecaps fans left the ballpark bored Monday night -- and that's exactly what the team wanted.
The Whitecaps "celebrated" the 57th anniversary of the most boring day in history. Loud music was replaced on the sound system with classical and soft rock. Fans were encouraged to watch the grass grow and paint dry.
Appropriately, no runs were scored until the sixth inning of play.
