GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Remember Bow, the cat?
Bow who was found with an arrow shot through the neck near U.S. 31 and Burton Street in Grand Rapids last week.
The young grey and white cat ended up in the care of Lowell Animal Hospital after a woman noticed the injured stray cat roaming the streets.
Now, Dr. Bruce Langlois of the Animal Hospital of Lowell is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot Bow.
A tube had to be placed in the cat's wound to drain fluid and prevent infection. He was also given antibiotics.
Bow is currently under Langlois' care, and he believes Bow will make a complete recovery.
A Facebook page called "Justice for Bow" has also been set up for the public to keep up to date with his recovery.
Anyone with information about who shot Bow should call the Kent County Animal Shelter at 616-632-7300.
