GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-A Grand Rapids family is asking for your help in locating a modified tricycle stolen from a special needs child.

Shanda Kramer says she was out riding with her three year old son Jonus near Muskegon and Leonard Street Wednesday. When the mother and son stopped for a snack, they hid the tricycle in a back alley. When they returned, the tricycle was gone.

"It was inconspicuous, kind of out of the way, nobody was really around. Plus, it's a tricycle. We came back out 20 minutes later and it was gone. [There were] no signs [of it], no kids, no anything," Kramer said Saturday.

Jonus has Cerebral Palsy, so the tricycle is modified to help him peddle. The bike is a red Radio Flyer tricycle with velcro straps on the peddles and handlebars.

The family is offering a small cash reward for the trike's return. You can email your tips to the family's business at info@iloveleathers.com.
